Homemade Cranberry Sauce- As Tasty As It Is Easy
Cranberry sauce is one of those foods that you only think about once a year but that one moment is enough to remember your love for the tangy sweet sauce. In this recipe, I've taken it to the next level by brightening it with fresh orange zest and bringing in some notes of molasses with brown sugar. They're easy adjustments but make all the difference.
The OG Cranberry Sauce

- 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
- zest and juice of 2 oranges
directions:
- Wash and check your cranberries plucking out any damaged or bad berries.
- Combine all of the ingredients in a pan over medium high heat and bring to a boil.
- Boil for about 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until all of the berries have burst and you have a thick, saucy consistency.
- Enjoy! Might I suggest serving it on cheesecake.. ;)
